Terms of service
The agreement for using AttendStack to organise events, book a place and check guests in.
1. The service and your event
AttendStack provides event registration, admission tickets and organiser tools. The event organiser is responsible for the event, venue, admission rules, accessibility arrangements and the accuracy of its listing. A ticket confirms a booking; it does not override the organiser’s lawful entry requirements. Contact the organiser about event changes or cancellations.
2. Workspace accounts and team access
Provide accurate information, keep your credentials private and use an account you are authorised to access. Creating a workspace means you have authority to act for that organisation. Administrators are responsible for assigning appropriate team permissions and removing access when it is no longer needed. Each team member must accept these terms personally; an administrator cannot opt that person into marketing.
3. Bookings and ticket security
Use accurate attendee details and keep private ticket links and QR codes secure. Anyone with a ticket link may be able to view or present that ticket. Do not forge tickets, resell access contrary to the organiser’s rules, evade duplicate checks or interfere with another person’s booking. A ticket that has been admitted cannot be used for a second admission.
4. Offline check-in
Organisers must prepare authorised devices before an event and sync saved scans when connected. Offline devices use their last downloaded permissions, event information and revocations. Devices that cannot exchange scan records may admit the same ticket before they reconnect. Device loss, storage removal or browser eviction can affect offline records. Organisers must plan staff procedures for those situations.
5. Acceptable use and event data
Do not upload unlawful material, misuse attendee details, send unsolicited promotions, probe accounts without permission or disrupt the service. Organisers must give attendees appropriate privacy information and have a lawful basis for collecting, importing, using and retaining their information. Creating an attendee manually does not record that person’s acceptance or marketing consent.
6. Availability and changes
The service may be interrupted for maintenance, faults or circumstances outside our control. We may restrict access to address misuse or security issues. We may update these terms, identify the new version and ask you to accept it before continuing. You can stop using the service and request review of your personal data.
7. Privacy, communications and your rights
Our Privacy notice explains data handling. Booking and account messages are separate from optional marketing. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded. Event-specific arrangements remain between the attendee and the organiser.
